Dog

Dog

I’ve always been an animal lover. Growing up, I always had a dog. My family was a Boxer family, we had 5 over the course of my childhood. Since leaving my mom’s house, I hadn’t had a dog until a good friend of mine offered up his English Bulldog Buda. They didn’t really want to get rid of her, but they were moving to England (ironic, I know) and couldn’t bring her with them. Note: It’s advised against to fly with an English Bulldog as their nasal/breathing cavity doesn’t do well. Having known her since a puppy when my friends first got her, it wasn’t a hard sell.

Now a year later and she is the love of my life. She is the greatest dog I’ve owned, which is saying a lot because we had a really great Boxer for many years named Matea. Buda is like the fat kid that gets along with everyone. She’s also dainty like the hippos in Fantasia. Her favorite past times include playing non-stop, drooling, shedding, and her favorite, skateboarding.
